A network of professional and experienced coaches and mentors supports Telocate in their spinoff ambitions. Particularly, Prof. Dr. Leonhard Reindl and Herr Prof. Dr. Christian Schindelhauer support the company as mentors.
- The Department of Microsystems Engineering (IMTEK) is the largest of the 100 departments of the University of Freiburg. Microsystems engineering is a cross-section technology that creates new opportunities for other areas such as medicine, biology, pharmacy, materials science, optics, and many more. It is one of the world’s largest academic centers in its field and offers an exceptional range of research and teaching. IMTEK promotes the entrepreneurial culture explicitly — it has supported many startups in the past few years in their spin-off endeavors from the University.
- The Department of Computer Science (IIF) in Freiburg was awarded as one of the fastest growing computer science institutes in Germany by the CHE University Ranking. The IIF has received a top score for the quality of teaching, technical equipment and successful acquisition of funding. The Department is a key partner in several major research projects and active member of national and international research.
- The start-up project Telocate had been funded by the Exist Business Start-Up Grant of BMWi. The grant administration was supported by the founders‘ office of the University of Freiburg.
